A reasonable facsimile

Reasonable facsimile

Do they still have those contests? You know, the kind where you send in cereal box tops to qualify for a prize, for example. And if you don’t buy that particular brand, they will accept a “reasonable facsimile.” Remember that? No?

Doesn’t matter. The point is, I have always wanted to use those words, and today is the day.

Update on the Willet Green Miller plaque

You will recall that back in September, we discovered that the bronze memorial plaque had been stolen. We have no news regarding the theft, other than the case is still open on OPP files.

However, today we picked up the replacement aluminum sign. We are very pleased how the sign turned out!

What do you think? We think it qualifies as a reasonable facsimile, don’t you?

Unfortunately, it is too cold for the adhsive cement to cure properly on the stone monument. So we will hold on to Mr. Miller until the spring.

Thanks

Our appreciation goes to Rose Belanger of Lakeview Signs and Stained Glass, in Latchford  for her donation toward the cost of the plaque. We are grateful!
