So glad to see this wonderful building has been restored, a slice of history, so many were torn down, bravo Mel and all involved, the whole area is appreciative

  2. I’m the daughter of Louis Koza (brother of Jake) and Claire Brezenski, both deceased. My last visit to Cobalt was in 1965…. but I still remember the stories they told and the people they knew.

My mother was especially fond of this little train station and considered it a gem. (Indeed, she had a little framed pen-and-ink sketch of it which now hangs on my wall.) We can all agree that the cancellation of train service was a crushing blow. But I know she would’ve been pleased to see that the structure is still standing, and has been lovingly restored. Thank you.
